Deregistration can be done in three steps. First, go to the Council on Sex Offender Treatment Website and download the form, Initial Eligibility Checklist for Deregistration Evaluation. Fill out the form and send it back to the Council on Sex Offender Treatment. Second, if you receive approval from Council, you can contact a deregistration evaluator specialist to schedule a deregistration evaluation. Third, if you receive a positive recommendation from the deregistration evaluation specialist, petition the court to be removed from the public registry.
